Project Summary

Morgan provided hazardous materials abatement of the former camp site including an extensive asbestos abatement of the camp kitchen area. Through this technically challenging project Morgan built trust with the owner leading to the second phase of work which included demolition of the abated kitchen and eating area as well as several wings of the former camp. Special care was taken to size the demolished material and separate waste types to lessen the amount of material entering the landfill. Another challenge was that all materials had to be transported through the active mine site. Morgan with its many years of experience working in active mine sites was able to quickly provide trained and experienced drivers and trucks suitable for the task.

Project Scope
